In the wee hours of the morning today my little sissy J'Nelle gave birth to her first baby- an

oh-so-sweet baby girl named Brooklynn Jeanne. She had a fast natural birth (you go mama!) and her little lady came into the world weighing a whopp'n 6lbs 4oz. God is so kind to us new moms. J'Nelle told me a few days before how she wanted a certain midwife to deliver her babe (there are three in the practice) and sure enough she got the one she wanted. I would
LOVE to share her birth story, by it is
her story to share, so maybe in a few days she'll post it on her blog. Congratulations Jord and Nell, you are two of the kindest and most tender people I know and you are the world's best mommy & daddy for little Brookie!

~Story behind the pink rose~

Last night after hanging out with Nell & Jord all evening we walked by my rose bush and I told Nell that when a certain bud was in bloom I would bring it to the hospital as a little gift for her baby. There it is, a few days before we expected her to come!

::Giselle loves her cousin like a sister already!::
